April is almost here and we are very excited for our month of Gardening, Plants, & Nature!

On Friday, April 6th children will be participating in our annual Easter egg hunt!

Students will be able to plant, grow, and cultivate their own snack! We are in the works of creating a school garden, where all of the children will be able to participating in, and be able to analyze each step of growing food.

April 16th-April 20th the school will be closed for Spring Break Sunday

April 22nd is Earth Day! Students will be learning about the importance of recycling and taking care of our precious earth!

March 2nd is Dr. Seuss' "Read Across America" Day!!! We will be incorporating the world renowned zany writer in our cooking and art lessons.

Don't forget to spring forward for Daylight Savings Time

Health and Safety is the theme for March. We will be discussing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, as well as being safe.

We will be participating in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital annual Math-A-thon event!!! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their love and ability for math, while helping the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Student's will work on creating their own math website, and parents will help them gain scholarships.

March 17th is St. Patrick's Day!!!
